ANUCA SKILLS FOUNDATIONVaisakhi
Vaisakhi is a vibrant spring festival marking the first day of Vaisakh and the Punjabi New Year, celebrated with enthusiasm by our NGO. It marks the beginning of the harvest season and brings joy to the community. On this day, we share delicious meals and sweets with the local community and organize cultural programs where local children participate, adding brightness to the festivities. This celebration fosters unity and joy among community members, reflecting our commitment to cultural heritage and community well-being.
World Environment day
We also celebrate World Environment Day on 5th June with great enthusiasm. We organise tree plantation programs, environmental awareness programs, and community clean-up drives. We also engage local communities, especially children to promote sustainable practices and raise awareness about the importance of protecting our environment for future generations.
International Women’s Day
Every year on March 8th, International Women’s Day, we host educational programs emphasizing the importance of education and self-reliance among women. We educate them about financial independence opportunities and inspire them to pursue their goals. This day exemplifies our dedication to empowering women and celebrating their accomplishments, fostering a supportive environment for their continued growth and success.
Labour Day
Anuca Skills Foundation also observes Labour Day on May 1st, honoring the contributions of workers. We organize events to recognise their hard work and advocate for fair labor practices. This observation is a testament of our commitment to workers’ rights and promotes solidarity, respect, and appreciation for the labor force’s vital role in society.
Veer Bal Diwas
Veer Bal Diwas, observed on December 26, is a day imbued with the spirit of heroism and sacrifice. It commemorates the martyrdom of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh, the young sons of the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
